Day 1 Arrival in Chennai

Arrive at Chennai International Airport, where a representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, explore Marina Beach and sample local filter coffee or street snacks in Mylapore. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 2 Chennai to Mahabalipuram

After breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram (approx. 60 km / 2 hrs). Visit the Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, and Pancha Rathas, all UNESCO World Heritage monuments that showcase Pallava artistry.

Stroll along the coastal promenade in the evening and watch sculptors at work creating stone replicas of the ancient carvings. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.

Day 3 Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry

Continue southwards to Pondicherry (approx. 3 hrs). Check in at your heritage hotel and later explore the French Quarter, lined with colonial villas, bougainvillea-covered lanes and pastel cafés.

Day 5 Excursion to Auroville

After breakfast, drive to Auroville, the international township built on ideals of human unity. Visit the Matrimandir, the golden meditation dome surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Learn about Auroville’s sustainable lifestyle projects — organic farms, handmade crafts, and community cafés. Return to Pondicherry for leisure time or shopping. Overnight in Pondicherry.

Day 6 Pondicherry to Tharangambadi (Tranquebar)

Depart for Tharangambadi, also known as Tranquebar (approx. 4 hrs). Once a Danish settlement, this peaceful coastal town blends colonial remnants with Tamil culture.

Visit Fort Dansborg, the New Jerusalem Church, and stroll along the beach framed by old-world architecture. Overnight stay in Tharangambadi.

Day 7 Tharangambadi Exploration & Leisure

Spend the day at leisure exploring the coastal charm of Tharangambadi. Visit local fishing villages and watch traditional boat building.

Day 8 Tharangambadi to Kochi (Flight/Drive)

After breakfast, drive to Trichy or Chennai Airport for a short flight to Kochi (alternatively, a scenic long drive). On arrival, check in at a boutique hotel in Fort Kochi.

Evening free for a sunset walk near the Chinese Fishing Nets and seaside cafés. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 9 Kochi Sightseeing & Cultural Evening

Begin your day at Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, and the Paradesi Synagogue, followed by St. Francis Church — India’s oldest European church.

In the evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance or a classical music concert at a local theatre. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 10 Kochi to Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)
