Delhi Sightseeing Tour Package :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Full Day Delhi City Tour

Morning pickup from your hotel around 8:30 AM by private car and driver. Begin the day in Old Delhi, the heart of the Mughal capital. Visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, known for its red sandstone architecture and vast courtyard that can hold 25,000 worshippers. Then, enjoy a short rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, one of Asia’s oldest markets — a maze of narrow lanes filled with spice shops, silver jewelry, and traditional eateries. Continue to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, set amidst tranquil gardens. From there, stop at the outer view of the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once housed Mughal emperors.

In the afternoon, move toward New Delhi, designed by the British architect Edwin Lutyens. Drive along the ceremonial avenue past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), and Parliament House. Next, visit Humayun’s Tomb, the elegant 16th-century mausoleum that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Continue to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, surrounded by ancient ruins from the Delhi Sultanate period. If time allows, make a short visit to Lotus Temple, a stunning Bahá’í House of Worship open to all faiths. End your day with a relaxed drive back to your hotel, passing Delhi’s lively markets and tree-lined boulevards as the city glows at dusk.
