Central India Luxury Tiger Safari :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by a representative holding a placard with your name. Transfer to your hotel in the city center and settle in after your international flight.

The rest of the day is free to relax or take a light orientation drive around Delhi — perhaps passing India Gate, President’s House, and the lively markets of Connaught Place. Dinner at the hotel or a fine dining restaurant such as Indian Accent can be arranged. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi to Nagpur (Flight) - Drive to Tadoba

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nagpur, known as the gateway to Central India’s wildlife circuit. Meet your chauffeur on arrival and drive towards Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (approx. 3 hours).

As the city fades, the landscape turns greener — open fields, teak forests, and small tribal hamlets lead you into tiger country. Upon arrival, check into your luxury jungle lodge, where a welcome drink awaits.

Evening at leisure: enjoy a nature walk or interact with the resident naturalist who will brief you on the park’s ecosystem. Overnight in Tadoba.

Day 3 Tiger Safaris in Tadoba

Rise before dawn for your first jeep safari in Tadoba National Park. The forest awakens with the sound of birds and the rustle of deer — and if luck favors, the deep roar of a tiger echoing through bamboo groves.

Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and spend mid-morning at leisure by the pool or reading wildlife journals. After lunch, embark on your afternoon safari, focusing on Tadoba Lake and the Andhari region, where tigers and crocodiles often share the same banks.

As sunset paints the forest gold, return to your lodge. Enjoy an open-air dinner and stargazing session. Overnight in Tadoba.

Day 4 Tadoba to Pench National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Tadoba and drive north to Pench National Park (approx. 4 hours). The journey itself is scenic — passing rolling fields, rural villages, and forested hills.

Arrive at your lodge by early afternoon and enjoy a relaxed lunch. Pench, straddling Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Evening free for a short birding walk around the property or an informal talk with the naturalist about the park’s wildlife zones. Overnight stay in Pench.

Day 5 Wildlife Safaris in Pench

Early morning head out on a jeep safari in Pench Tiger Reserve. The forest is alive with chital herds, langurs leaping between trees, and the occasional flash of a leopard’s tail disappearing into the undergrowth.

Return to your lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, head out again for your second safari, this time exploring a different zone. You might spot the elusive dhole (Indian wild dog) or eagles circling over open meadows.

Evening dinner at your lodge with campfire stories about the legendary “Collarwali Tigress,” who raised multiple litters here. Overnight in Pench.

Day 6 Pench to Kanha

After breakfast, drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 5 hours). The road passes through picturesque tribal countryside dotted with sal trees.

Arrive in Kanha and check into your elegant lodge surrounded by forest views. Enjoy lunch and a relaxed afternoon — you can take a guided walk in the buffer zone, visit a nearby Baiga tribal village, or unwind with an Ayurvedic massage.

Dinner will be served in the lodge’s open-air dining area, accompanied by local folk melodies. Overnight in Kanha.

Day 7 Kanha Jungle Safaris

Wake up early with tea and biscuits before setting off for your first morning safari in Kanha Tiger Reserve. This vast park — once the setting for Kipling’s fictional Mowgli’s world — is known for its scenic meadows, dense sal forests, and the rare hard-ground barasingha (swamp deer).

Return to the lodge for brunch and a short rest. Later in the afternoon, head back into the park for another wildlife drive, exploring new zones such as Mukki or Kisli.

As dusk approaches, enjoy the golden glow filtering through the trees — the perfect time for wildlife photography. Overnight in Kanha.

Day 8 Full Day in Kanha

Today is devoted to deeper exploration of Kanha National Park. You’ll enjoy both morning and afternoon safaris, each focusing on different landscapes and species. Between drives, visit the Kanha Museum of Life and Art, which documents the park’s conservation story and tribal culture.

Optional add-ons include a guided nature walk or a community visit to see local artisans. In the evening, unwind by the bonfire as your naturalist shares tiger-tracking anecdotes. Overnight stay in Kanha.

Day 9 Kanha to Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 6 hours), another jewel of Madhya Pradesh’s forest belt. The road journey passes through rural heartlands where farmers plow fields beside ancient temples.

Arrive at your lodge in Bandhavgarh by afternoon and enjoy a welcome drink on arrival. Evening free for leisure, followed by a presentation on the history of the Bandhavgarh Fort and its link with ancient dynasties. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 10 Tiger Tracking in Bandhavgarh

Set out at dawn for your first jeep safari in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, famous for its high tiger density. The forest’s varied terrain — rocky cliffs, bamboo thickets, and grasslands — offers excellent photographic opportunities.

Return for breakfast, then rest or explore the property’s organic garden. After lunch, embark on an afternoon safari, exploring different routes. Keep an eye out for jackals, sambar deer, and colorful kingfishers.

Evening at leisure; enjoy a dinner themed around local cuisine with traditional folk tunes. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.

Day 11 Bandhavgarh Exploration

Another full day of safaris allows deeper exploration of Bandhavgarh’s diverse zones, such as Tala, Magdhi, or Khitauli. The morning drive often yields tiger sightings as animals move towards waterholes, while the afternoon brings chances to see elephants and vultures near the fort area.

Between drives, relax at the lodge spa or take part in an optional photography workshop conducted by your naturalist. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 12 Bandhavgarh to Jabalpur

After breakfast, depart for Jabalpur (approx. 4 hours), known as the gateway to the marble country. On arrival, visit the spectacular Bhedaghat Marble Rocks, where the Narmada River flows through gleaming white cliffs.

Take a short boat ride through the gorge — an unforgettable experience, especially during sunset when the rocks glow golden. Evening leisure time at your hotel. Overnight in Jabalpur.

Day 13 Jabalpur to Delhi (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to Jabalpur Airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your city hotel.

Spend the evening relaxing or enjoying a farewell dinner at one of Delhi’s top restaurants. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 14 Departure from Delhi

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.

Your 14-day Central India tiger safari concludes with unforgettable memories — from roaring jungles to starlit lodges, and the thrill of seeing the tiger in its true kingdom.
